Welcome to Cascade Garden | Our Story
Owners Andy and May Liu learned about the restaurant business from childhood,
watching their parents run restaurants of their own. However, before launching
their restaurant careers, Andy and May attended universities in Taiwan and
became school teachers for several years.
Then in the late 70’s, they moved to Portland, Oregon where they and another
couple opened up their first restaurant (which some of you have been to!). In
1989 Andy and May sold their share of the restaurant, moved to Issaquah,
Washington with their two children, and started a restaurant of their own –
Cascade Garden.
They bring learnings from their parents combined with over 25
years of experience in serving Chinese cuisine. They believe in providing the highest quality of food using the freshest
ingredients in order to give you the best possible Chinese dining experience.
May and Andy have always embraced their staff and guests warmly. “When you’re
here, you’re family,” they say.
